Orientation Leader

J&M Tank Lines, Inc. is looking for a motivated, self-starter, with a passion for teaching and forming relationships. The Orientation Leader is responsible for on boarding and cultivating strong relationships between new Truck Drivers and the company. This role will be the first experience new Truck Drivers have with the company and will be responsible for executing orientation curriculum. Reporting to the Vice President of Safety & Compliance, the Orientation Leader will be responsible for day-to-day management of orientation, creating and adjusting curriculum to fit employee needs and representing the company and its brand.

Responsibilities:

· Plan, organize and manage daily/weekly orientation classes for new hires.

· Serve as a liaison for new hires during their time in orientation.

· Communicate with other departments on individual’s needs.

· Execute orientation curriculum in a timely and effective fashion.

· Provide hands on training for professional drivers, demonstrating how to effectively and

safely load/unload material. (We will train you)

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.

· Classroom instruction experience, preferred.

· Comfortable with technology and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Familiarity with the Smith System driving principles & OSHA regulations, preferred

· Trucking or Transportation experience a plus but not required
